I came across this after I downloaded the WMCF Sessions and am eternally grateful this moment in time was preserved, and that it is available here. Phil’s playing just ooozes excitement, seemingly just from playing with someone else other than Genesis. John Wetton is just a god on the bass in my musical world, so listening to this combo noodling around on a theme was a pure pleasure to me. Thanks again for bringing this one out and making it available. Cheers.

Similar to the beefy style of Red (as opposed to the more nuanced layering of LTiA) I wish there was more.  Did these fellows ever record anything else? (together, I mean)

Did Wetton play on any more demos like this? Love to hear them. Thanks.

Was this trio ever intended as a permanent band? BF was just back from his hiatus. Wetton was more or less looking for inspiration. PC was rather frustrated by personal life and Genesis directions. So it could have been the case...

Anyway, it is amazing to hear this stuff. Anymore?

Great tracks. Nice to hear Collins playing like it matters.

A quibble: The last track has the Roman numeral VI (6) shouldn’t it be IV (4)?

Thanks for offering this new installment in the series of Fripp-Wetton-Collins stuff. I find this material really worth keeping, I love the groove of this trio and perhaps these tracks, and the previous ones that have been appearing, deserve better. I think someone has asked for it before, but if that is so, let me second a request for a more formal release of this pieces.

By the way, the artwork for this download only credits Fripp’s playing. The other two guys are also quite good, so maybe a couple of lines could be added to the back sleeve (Please!)
