Not to downplay the wonderful performances of Tony Levin and Narada Michael Waldon, but this trio would have been amazing on the "Breathless" track.  I’ve always loved Collins’ drumming and the unique sound of his kit with his unusual single headed toms.  Here you can especially hear the influence of his recent Brand X excursions, certainly not far from the territory Wetton would later venture into with UK.  Very compatible players indeed.  Pity there’s not more...or is there ?

Okay, Stormy - a challenge.  How many snippets does RF have of this trio?  THIS could be an interesting CD download or CC release all on its own.

What fun! And imagine if Wetton and Collins had been providing vocals and lyrics. Now that’s what I call a supergroup!

Was this the closest Phil Collins got to being a member of King Crimson?

Three lads in New York City check levels and an urban minimalist funk groove arises with conviction of Crimson improv lineage!
