Perhaps these songs are engrained in my psychy as they strike a chord, make me smile at what I have and dream of everything more I can choose to be.  Can’t wait for the album - an avid fan.

I found The Vicars tunes (free mp3 comp) to be well executed but a bit boring and dated. The Vicar might be wise to consider writing soundtracks to musicals similar to Disneys "Aladdin" or that "Victor Victoria" with Julie Andrews.

The light at the end of the tunnel   March 3, 2006
Written by The Vicar
Today at the Vicarage : The Music Room DGM. You blink, rub your eyes, and when you open them, someone has switched on the light at the end of the tunnel. Not as close as you might like - but then, as we know, the world is never perfect. It is reassuring to know that it might be possible. Sean Fitzpatrick, amongst other acts of ongoing heroism, suggested that the Tall Pointy One should make a compilation of some of the tracks to present to EMI, as there are ongoing discussions within the ranks over the best home for the completed Songbook. I will be surprised if it does not find a happy home with Panegyric and Inner Knot - but the compilation has already served one purpose in allowing us to plot our current position - which is further South, and a little closer to warmer climes, than we suspected. Hopefully, it will be made available as a Hot Tickle, so that those who are convinced that the Songbook has no value, can be further strenthened in their convictions.
