A very enjoyable and delightfully idiosyncratic little opus.    Densely hinged.   Bodacious.  ’kay then.

That Boy's Not Cool   February 3, 2006
Written by The Vicar
Today at the Vicarage : The Music Room

Earlier in the week, the Tall Pointy One described himself as "a drowning man facing up to the fact that he cannot reach the shore" - not a happy bunny!

So we have taken practical steps to send a lifeboat. The first being to compile a CD of the currently available tracks for Songbook No 1. Then we will know how far from the shore we are.

And today, that distant shoreline leapt several miles closer, singing and dancing as it came. The rough and dirty mix of That Boy’s Not Cool (now available on this site, following the helpful urgings of the Venal One) proved that, while he may be unhinged, The Tall Pointy One can write wonderful, if bizarre, songs (something we already knew) - but, more importantly, that Lewis Taylor can give some of them voice. He is even now looking at a second track.

By the end of next week, we will hopefully find that this impossible album is not only possible - but within touching distance of competion. So keep swimming, my friend!
