This invites me to feel more & more openly, as then the fruit is so sweetly peculiar and stamped with the personalities of qualities that move on and on, and away from us. Better that we paused to experience them as they were available and embrace-able, before becoming wisp-ties to memory. I feel his "letting go" here, as this entire musical moment resonates as cathartic and forward-moving. This is a beautiful space.

The song makes those moments live for us, and bring their influence into our lives as well. I’ll share this:
First Supper
Rising to his hospital food,
my father praised the larded tray
with hoots and moans.
He tenderly eyed the fragrant peach,
his, grown in glory.
For days he’d slept, walking
the grey gardens of the nearly dead
then wakened: ravenous,
giddy with reprieve.
I held my sorrow like a winter acorn,

This was like a flash back to 70s Crim to me with an eye towards the future that is now. (if that makes any sense). Wouldn’t it be nice to find Jakko’s vox and words included in the new and upcoming Crim? Bringing back the soft and spacey on wings anew? Songs that mean something and attach themselves to the courses of our lives and times for to play over and on. Were those truly the nights that wounded time?... Are they gone now, or is this perhaps the long awaited reply to an old crimheads long awaited request ?
