November 8, 2003 Chicago, Park West. A trip on the ’night’ fantastic. One to remember, and remember it well. RF, guitar in hand, takes to his stool, readying the maze of processors cables and foot pedals. An Introductory Soundscape of swelling tensions, giving way to a pallet of otherworldly sound. Almost there! What followed would be K.C’s most dominating sound in 30 years.
This is musica moderne. A form of energy and power that goes into the beyond, and takes you along for the journey. C.O.L., T.P.T.B. I, II, & III are all standouts. While traveling towards the future, it’s always nice to get into the Wayback Machine, and take a trip with your best of friends to the time of Larks Tongues In Aspic Pt. IV. With the Crimson King at the helm, nothing is impossible.

Finally, another show from the Fall 2003 tour, until now represented only by the incomparable Kingston concert. Really like PM’s percussion/sample interludes here -- nice atmospheres. I could take a lot more of this kind of thing.
