As far as public live performance goes, this has been quite a remarkable evening to me. The place is one I am pretty much well accustomed to, being a very familiar town and theater in which i stand in front of many favourite artists of mine. My family and best friend were there, we all strongly felt connected to the band. But then, some more.
This is by far the best crimson tide i have been overflown by. I saw crimson in 74, 82 till their last quartet in europe, so this means a lot, to me. they were totally astounding, we were ecstatic. the drama of the performance was a tight unicum, through the heaviest of passage to the softer ones, even lights were perfect. But i can also say this the most powerful of all incarnations, the most complete, the most deeply immersed in reality, whatever that means.
All this happened in the most exquisite, crystal silence, as if we all, performers and listeners, were a part, totally not apart, of a much greater drama.

A truly excellent performance this evening in Mestre to Venice.
The energy that emanates the band is really to overwhelming, especially on tracks, Dinosaur, BBOOM and THRAK .. Five stars are few! :)
