Earthbound Tour Bundle Update
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Mar 10, 2011
We’ve had a couple of enquiries regarding the Earthbound tour bundle from some folks about having to re-buy items from the tour they already have. If you have previously bought all 5 downloads from this tour that were available before the bundle was launched on Monday 7th March, and you want the whole tour now, you will be gifted a free show of your choice from elsewhere in the DGMLive archive of gigs. Choose the show that you would like, and let us know via soundrequests@dgmlive.com the show date and format.

Whole Earthbound Tour From 1972 Now Available
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Mon., Mar 7, 2011
You can now buy all of the Earthbound tour (or at least as much of it as resides in the archive) as a bundle for $66 FLAC and $50 in MP3 format. The launch of this was delayed earlier today because of a bug in the site but now all the gremlins are squashed and we’re good to go!
Several of the gigs have been previously available as KCCC releases and these are flagged up for those folks who may already have the CD versions and want to avoid duplicates. Individual concerts from the tour are available for downloading now.
The tour bundle starts here: http://www.dgmlive.com/archive.htm?artist=1&show=198&member=&entry=

Travis & Fripp & Shallal
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Sun., Mar 6, 2011
Blue Calm by Travis and Fripp will be amongst the music used by the dance theatre group, Shallal (of which RF is a patron) on Monday 28th March and 30th March in performances at Falmouth Art Gallery.
Both performances on the 28th and 30th are at 2.00 p.m. Here's the details.
Shallal Dance Theatre’s new work, Chromatic, funded by Feast, explores relationships through the lens of black and white photographs from the current Masters of Photography exhibition at Falmouth Art Gallery.
The new improvisations are in response to the images and collaborative work with visiting artist Deana Holloway. The work is as varied as the music, the music ranges from local artist Jacqui Callis, composer Roger Pinsent, to Tina Turner and Robert Fripp.
The gallery provides an intimate space to watch the performance and we hope you can come along.
On Wednesday Shallal are joined by some of the Falmouth community group Friends and Dancing who have only been working for a year and have already performed at Eden ! including a solo impovisation by Carol Andrew with local guitarist Jamie Mills ( who also work together in Shallal’s Penryn group).

:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Mar 3, 2011
My thanks to DGMLive competition winner, Holger Klein of Frankfurt, for sending in a picture with his booty.
As you can see, Holger has been enjoying All I Know - a 2 disc career-spanning anthology by Theo Travis. You can read my take on the album over on the blog.
Theo talks about the trauma of a serious motorcar accident at the end of last year and what the future might hold for him over on his website.

KC, Coheed & Cambria
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Mar 3, 2011
My thanks to Elijah for sending me this link to an interview with members of Coheed and Cambria which briefly name-checks Crimso. Elijah writes "Not sure if people in these parts are big Coheed & Cambria fans, but this interview mentions good ol’ KC. Apparently their guitar player thinks that KC has a pop element. Anyone agree?"
