It Was 40 Years Ago Today
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Tue., Mar 27, 2012

That Mel, Boz, Ian & Robert played in Boston supporting Yes with Bill Bruford still on drums. It was at this gig that Bill seized his opportunity to ask Fripp about meeting up and discussing some ideas once they were back in the UK.

Two months after this gig was recorded, in May 1972 Fripp and Bruford kept the meeting they'd promised each other to see what, if anything, might happen.

You can grab the concert via the mail order store.

King Crimson Reissues Nominated For Classic Rock Mag Poll
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Sun., Aug 21, 2011
What’s been your favourite reissues of the last 12 months? Hopefully, you’ll say "Why the King Crimson 40th Anniversary Edition series, of course!"  If that’s the case then please go and vote for Crimson in the Reissue Of The Year part of Classic Rock magazine’s annual poll. It's step 3 of 5 in the voting process.

You can vote here or by hitting the newly installed banner above. It’d be great to see the KC catalogue in the winner’s section.

And The Winner Is...

My thanks to Dave Owen for sending me a picture of himself and his signed copy of Stick Men's Absalom, which he won in our recent competition.

Dave informs us the album is "stimulation and inspiration" which sounds pretty good as far as we're concerned.
