Club 46 Pre-Order
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Fri., May 11, 2012
One of the most exciting finds in the King Crimson archives is being made available as part of the King Crimson Collectors' Club series.
The album comes about after Alex Mundy's recent discovery of soundboard tapes of the band's run at the Marquee Club in August during the recording of KC's fourth album, Islands. Pristine soundboard quality, a full set and an incredibly rare outing of an early working versions of themes from Larks' Tongues In Aspic Pt1 and Lament make this an irresistible set. You can pre-order your copy of KCCC 46 here. If you can't wait for the album then you can always download the concert here.

Frequent Flyer Giveaway
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., May 10, 2012
Pat Mastelotto is one of the guest musicians on Italian bass-player Lorenzo Feliciati's toe-tapping new album, Frequent Flyer. Those nice people at Rare Noise Records have a signed copy to giveaway to anyone who can tell us which King Crimson track is covered by Lorenzo on the album.
If the answer is on the tip of your tongue but you can't quite recall, you could visit the Lorenzo Feliciati store at Rare Noise and check out the tracklisting. Once you've done that pop your answer in an email headed Frequent Flyer to competitions@dgmlive.com. The winner will be picked from a hat on Tuesday 15th May. You can check out my take on the album over on the blog.
