My thanks to Andy Fox who spotted a reference to KC on BBC Radio 4 yesterday. "King Crimson reference on ’The 3rd Degree’, The Radio 4 quiz where a team of three University students take on a team of three of their professors. If you can’t wait for the Crimson question, it gets asked 13 minutes in to the podcast. The show is available to listen to for 7 days from the 29th April 2013 although it may be available to UK listeners only.

Frippertronics 83 Tour Bundle
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Fri., Apr 26, 2013
In March 1983, two months after the failed attempt to record the third King Crimson album in Champaign-Urbana, Fripp was back in America and Canada as a solo artist on The Music System Tour. There are now 22 of those shows available for downloading individually or as a bundle. The tour kicked off in San Diego and finished in Toronto.

Three shows from this tour have previously been available and if you have already bought them but would like to take advantage of the bundle's cost-effective bulk buy, you'll be offered a free show of your choice from the rest of the DGMLive archive.

Please note that due to a glitch the show on the 15th is not currently downloadable but will be automatically forwarded to those purchasing the bundle.

The Vicar's Listening Party
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Apr 25, 2013
Would you like to attend the forthcoming surround sound playback event of The Vicar's new album? Places are extremely limited but we'll be plucking the names of two lucky people out of the fickle fedora of fate tomorrow. The event takes place in central London on Tuesday 30th April at 2.30. All you need to do is send your name and a contact telephone number to competitions@dgmlive.com in the next 24 hours. For blindingly obvious reasons you must be able to be in London next Tuesday to be eligible.
