King Crimson Revised Photo Policy
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Fri., Nov 6, 2015
This just in from the team as they begin their preparations for Canada.

KING CRIMSON

Revised Photo Policy

5  November 2015

King Crimson, on its touring in 2014 and 2015, has requested of its audiences that audients refrain from photography, recording and viddying during the performance.

This has mostly been honoured. And when the band stops playing, at the end of the performance proper and following any encores, photography erupts. Except from T Lev, who has refrained from photography throughout.

The Brothers Crim have discussed this and formulated a revised photo policy to request of their audiences and audients:

Please refrain from photography, recording, viddying during the performance, including any encores. But when KC stops playing, then photography is acceptable.

Which means Tony can also snap into action.

We are also encouraging folks to send in their post-encore snaps directly to DGM Live so we can post ’em up here.

Send your photo to competitions@dgmlive.com

THRAKKIES Ahoy!
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Fri., Nov 6, 2015
Here's yet more THRAKKIES for your delight. First up, DJ Tara sent a snap of this adorably cute beast (and a dog).  "Here is our pup Mojo here in Ontario Canada so excited it arrived today!"

A slightly different beastliness can be discerned in Andrew's snap...

And finally, Colin writes "Only had the chance to hear the 2015 mix and if that’s anything to go by – wow!"

In case you missed it, John Kelman's review of the THRAK BOX contains an interview with Jakko on the new stereo and surround sound mix.

RF's Focus
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Nov 5, 2015
This from Robert via Facebook.

Current road discipline:

rising 07.15.
cold shower.
exercise.
sitting.
morning reading.
practising.

no alcohol, no dessert.
no socialising.
no business.
no interviews.

ie focus.

question: does this (any particular arising) support the performance?

anything which does not support the performance = No.
anything which distracts / undermines focus = No.

Even More THRAKKIES...
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Wed., Nov 4, 2015
Have you got your THRAK BOX yet? If so, send in a THRAKKIE. In the meantime, here's some more from out there in Crimheadland.

First up, Robin Rimbaud (aka composer, Scanner) is very pleased with his latest addition to the KC family...

Here's Clive who is definitely a Crimhead proving the old adage - if the cap fits wear it, to be true.

And finally for today, another sideways glance from Georges-Thierry, who says "You know what? I'm happy"

:: Posted by Sid Smith on Mon., Nov 2, 2015
Here's some more THRAKKIES - keep them coming in!

First up, here's Jason, who reckons the box is "another fine addition to the KC legacy...

Then what might be called a sideways look from Richard who is said to be "Thrakking in the USA"

and finally, this from Michael in the UK who tells us that his cat Lillian is "rather keen we stop admiring the packaging and get a disc on..."

Please keep your THRAKKIES coming in - we also want to see snaps of the DC/DVD edition as well! Send your THRAKKIE to competitions@dgmlive.com marked THRAKKIE (what else?)
