Bowie & Fripp
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Mon., May 13, 2013
Media hussy that he is, Robert Fripp is once again set to appear on prime time TV. This time he’s going to be one of the talking heads that will be popping up in BBC TV’s David Bowie documentary, Five Years which airs on Saturday 25th May. Diary readers will recall RF mentioning filming taking place on 15th March 2013. TV reviewer Boyd Hilton tweeted at the weekend: David Bowie: Five Years on BBC2, Sat, May 25 is not to be missed. The
best Bowie documentary ever. Best contributions: Robert Fripp #Bowie

Will the publicity-hungry Fripp and his 'night time adventures' receive the kind of psychological study and scrutiny they so obviously deserve? Find out tonight!

And The Winner Is...
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Mon., May 6, 2013
Congratulations to Stephanie Poe who told me that Sir Christopher Wren designed St Paul's cathedral. Her name was plucked out of the fickle fedora of fate and so she wins herself a copy of Robert Fripp's At The End Of Time for her troubles. Stay tuned for another great DGMLive giveaway!

Churchscapes On The Radio
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., May 2, 2013
Robert Fripp was one of the artists featured on last evening's Late Junction show on BBC Radio 3. "Beautiful music" was how presenter Fiona Talkington described the selection of tracks from At The End Of Time. You can hear the show for the next seven days on the BBC iPlayer.
If you don't already own a copy then you've a chance to nab one for free. All you need to do is answer this simple question. What was the name of the celebrated architect who designed St.Paul's Cathedral in London where some of the above album was recorded?
Send your answer in an email marked Churchscapes to competitions@dgmlive.com. The lucky winner's name will be plucked from the fickle fedora of fate on Monday 6th May. You can read my take on the album over on the blog.
