News From Nick Cave
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Sep 9, 2010
This just in from Mute Records regarding Grinderman.
"Due to a manufacturing problem, the 12" vinyl of Heathen Child has been cut with the incorrect version of Super Heathen Child (ft Robert Fripp) on the AA side.
It is essential to Grinderman that this 12" single is presented as intended with the correct version of Super Heathen Child. We are therefore re-calling existing stock and are re-pressing the single - revised copies should be available from Tuesday 14th September.
If you have ordered your copy online / by mail order, please contact the retailer to arrange a return and a replacement copy will be sent to you at no extra cost.
If you purchased your copy in-store, please return it to the point of purchase to exchange for a replacement.
Sincere apologies for the inconvenience."

Tony Levin's 70th Birthday?
:: Posted by Sid Smith on Thu., Sep 9, 2010
My thanks to Sean Hewitt for spotting this mistake about King Crimson's stick player celebrating his 70th birthday. Of course, TLev has a little way to go before blowing out that many candles. The Tony Levin in question is non other than the totally fabbo UK jazz drummer, who happens to be a member of the equally excellent Mujician. Now, Keith Tippett is a member of Mujician and he has played with King Crimson. It doesn't get much closer than that I guess!
