Jakko Jaksyzk's acclaimed solo album, The Bruised Romantic Glee Club is to be reissued on the Panegyric label.

In 2006 advance copies of the double album garnered great reviews from the press but the album failed to make good on the interest generated when the original record company crashed.

It is now scheduled for release on September 14th.

The first album features a series of original compositions (including Forgiving co-written with Robert Fripp) whilst the second contains cover versions of material which was special to a young Jakko growing up in the early 70s.

These include material by Soft Machine, Henry Cow and King Crimson. Pictures of an Indian City features new words by Peter Sinfield whilst the track is given an Indian-flavoured makeover. There's also a poignant version of Islands featuring Mel Collins, Ian Wallace and Dave Stewart.

Other guest artists on the record include Ian McDonald, Gavin Harrison, Hugh Hopper, Clive Brooks, Danny Thompson and Mark King.
