Happy Birthday...to me!

I am twice-thankful for Robert’s birthday! I am most thankful because without this birth our world would be a vastly different and inferior place. But, I am also thankful because there was an entire page on the Guestbook that was nothing but nice sentiments (happy birthday wishes) instead of the recent, relentless and negative griping about who is and isn’t "king Crimson." I am not even this happy on MY birthday! The aphorism below (on my current screen) states: "Expectation is a prison." What a timely insight into the expectations that we all have about our favorite bands! My advice is to drop the expectations, the negativity, and the hang-ups about personalities and dislikes and simply listen to the music in a thankful state of mind. What a lovely present that thought is! Happy Birthday, Maestro! Now, where are those tasty cakes?
