Chuckling of the landlordly kind is coming through the wall.

10.02 Kitchen discussion with David…

Discussing society’s pervasive noise. And then onto the next overall stage in the DGM process: visibility.

11.07    David has put his head into the Chamber Of Venality, a more frequent occurrence recently as good and positive developments arise and develop.

This particular putting-the-head-into: two good positives.

11.08    To a Special Study Group…

i have continued on, waving at you all and assuming the virtue.

but, as we all know from our studies of worthy tomes of metaphysical import and the laws of process, everything winds down; and nothing continues on its intended way unless intentionally renewed.

so, where are we, please?

13.45    Lunch conversation with David in the kichen on the growing revelations of the abuse of trust by those in public positions: eg the allegedly widespread cheating of an international cyclist, allegedly both bullying and litigious; and Jimmy Savile.

A sea change seems to be underway in national/international society; where abuse, once known-but-not-known, rumoured but not investigated or investigated-with-no-will-to-do-so, is no longer quasi-acceptable: it is unacceptable.

Off to Uncle Bill…

18.14 Uncle Bill, now 98, was in good shape…

… while dealing with the additional maintenance that comes with his age. Never complaining, always in good spirits, Uncle brought me up to speed on his adventures with various visits to RAF establishments / events, and a proposed biography of him.

Returning to DGM HQ where Amy DGM and Jim Cuomo are visiting. Champagne in official DGM champagne flutes…

… with a little cake on the side. We have a formal meeting here tomorrow at 11.00.

18.50 Amy and Jim have just left in their taxi for Salisbury.
