A connected world? An analysis of recent progress : Tuesday 25th October - Meet with the most powerful man in the music business (hint- he doesn’t work for a record company). He introduces me to his assistant, who will move things forward Wednesday 26th October - Send Email to Assistant "Good to meet. Take me through next steps etc." Monday 1st November - Receive Reply promising introduction to appropriate party. Tuesday 9th November - Send Friendly missive wondering when introduction will happen Monday 15th November - Receive Reply with promised introduction Tuesday 16th November - Call to speak with new contact Wednesday 17th November - Referred to new "appropriate party"... 24 days during which my only acheivement is to be referred downwards four times from the master to the assistant. Still falling, I think. At least, I’m not a drummer.
