Bredonborough.

The sun is shining, the sky is blue. WillyFred is fed, reclining in a leisurely fashion to accommodate the heat. Although I’m not sure to what extent the temperature significantly impacts bun’s proclivity to recline in a leisurely fashion.

Morning reading…

A call from the Minx, on rue Longue in Menton, moving towards her first business meeting of the day in the Petit Port.

And hooray! Good news in from a pal who has been receiving medical attention.

13.12    A morning computing and e-flurrying.

18.43    An afternoon of calisthenics.

Then, while early-evening walking over to World HQ, I paused to take a pic of the street…

… and a man on a bicycle stopped –Hello Robert! Not a cycling autographer, but our pal Tom from the Electric Cinema in Birmingham. Tom and Suzie have just moved, days ago, to one mile outside Bredonborough. Well!

Floral displays on the way to World HQ I…

A call from the Minx with significant developments in several areas.

Computing by the back door: the latest arisings with UMG/EMI - the possible sale of Sanctuary as part of the conditions to satisfy the EU on UMG’s takeover of EMI.

Tim Smith, Business Affairs at UMG, spent three years 2006-9 telling us that UMG did not actually acquire Sanctuary. Had UMG done so, the non-takeover clause in the Sanctuary contract, included specifically to avoid the situation we are now in with UMG, and personally negotiated by David Singleton and myself in 2002, would have been triggered. That is, if UMG had acquired Sanctuary, they would have had no rights to KC. Three years of denial and obfuscation from Mr. Most Useless Of Smiths and now UMG are willing to dispose of Sanctuary, which they acquired in 2006.

Or not? Errrrr… does something smell bad by the back door? Drains, perhaps? But our drains operate in a straightforward fashion.

19.58    An evening of calisthenics ahead.
