Bredonborough.
A cold, frosty morning…
… but with blue sky & sunshine.
Into the Cellar for The Writing Project:
10.52 Written on June 25, 1989, this story was referred to in the final meeting at Sant Cugat last Thursday…
A Sufi drummer playing with the Whirling Dervishes of Konya told me, over breakfast in New York (1978), of his beginning in craft. He prepared himself for three years to play his drum. Then, after three years of preparation, he took up his drum and began to play. One Guitar Craft student has been practising a right hand exercise for 1,000 days in preparation to taking up their guitar at the New York course in August 1989. This is a sound approach, but not for all.
In some schools there is the addendum: however long 1,000 days may be.
18.31 Barbara dropped in for a spontaneous lunch.
E-flurrying. Computer frenzy. Shopping on the High Street…
More flurrying of the online kind. Local pals are coming for supper.
21.43 A wonderful fun evening. Coppit was played. WillyFred demonstrated his dice-throwing abilities…
… much to the amusement of our guests, although WillyFred did not join us for a game; but is now waiting for adoration.
To gentle.
