Mozart, gently werning in a space that would permit a small Guitar Craft course, is so right at this moment: a civilizing & warming tendency in a large space that I am only slowly beginning to make work for me. It took me 20 minutes to decide which bedroom to sleep in. So much for accessing the machinery of the decision-making process.

We arrived in Brisbane around 05.30 yesterday, Sunday 4th. May. The first leg of the flight from Heathrow, to Kuala Lumpur, took 12.5 hours. In Kuala Lumpur a shower and sauna, before a 7.5 hour journey to Brisbane. New reading on the 'plane: Philip Mason's The English Gentleman: The Rise And Fall Of An Ideal (Andre Deutsch 1982). This has been on my shelves for many years, waiting for me.

To bed again around 02.15 & then up again at 05.10. A leisurely breakfast buffet & now dribbling gently here in Salon Maximus.
