Much witnessing & experiencing of many kinds of boobies, in close proximity while in public, leads me to this dyadic explanation: either public boobies believe themselves to be invisible & inaudible, or don’t care that their behaviour might negatively impact others; eg by broadcasting the noisy progress of personal plumbing systems while others are eating nearby. No doubt, these are not the only two options.
