Bredonborough,
Rising from a night partly spent with Eno. Two strange adventures on a large river, perhaps the Thames, leading to a bottom-level of earth-dwelling. A sense of something-like being in a favela, at the bottom level towards which the higher levels of the world are sinking; although the appearance of this sinking-urban-situation is not yet reflected in the streets and urban spaces. And then a chance meeting with Eno (who in non-night-adventures is a good character for knowing liminal places) where currents are in the air.
Rising at 06.25 for an earlier beginning to the day. The Minx was already up at 05.15.

14.25 Lunch by the back door. A hectic morning getting ready to leave for DGM. Then - oh no! the car wouldn’t start. Flat battery. A superb RAC man arrived in good time and had me on my way.
