A changeover of main-computer to a newer model. The former Mac 1 is exhibiting some recurrent glitches. Changeover is underway, facilitated by off-board computing; this requires lots of backing up.

10.38 Two Jehovah’s Witnesses came to the front door, father and son. We agreed on some things, not on others. I suggested that they faced rejection on the streets of Bredonborough. They agreed, the son especially. I wished them well, proposing that Faith is one although the variants are many.
Mac Lion is now downloading on the former main computer.
20.18 An afternoon visit to Barbara in Cheltenham.
Returning via Wick, an adjoining village, to drop off an empty vodka bottle at the door of our local pals; who used to live in the haunted house across the Square. But I was spotted while about to run away and we were invited in. A spontaneous and very fun hour and a half, playing with cat and two grandsons on their third birthday.
