13.46 Suite It-Is-Enormous, American Style Hotel Most Acceptable, Sao Paulo. Morning call to The Sweetlette Babe Of Marriage, now back in Canterbury after a trip to London yesterday for The X Factor. This is a tv show, one I have not seen. Toyah reports she was kissed several times on the cheeks by Simon Cowell & was hanging with Sharon & Ozzy, whom she found delightful. Lots of fun, she says. In Sao Paolo, an enormous city, my suite on the 16th. floor is preferable to the Executive Lounge on the 26th. Here there is no TV set to Noise Pollute: Destroy! Destroy! With Witless Programming! In any case, my suite is nearly as large as the Lounge. I am listening to Soundscapes from Mexico City and enjoying them. 20.54 The second evening at Credicard Hall, Sao Paulo.
The beginning of the Soundscapes set was met with calls of Freep! Freep! and the end, twenty minutes later, by boos mingled with simmerings of applause. Online again this evening, and from an e-mail to a Crafty… there is no fear in an ending: it is a beginning under another name. From an e-mail to David Singleton… the conventional business suggestions for KC: i don't believe the penny has dropped. i have become very positive about a non-touring RF, plugged into DGM and moving forward several projects that otherwise would not happen were i on the road. a KC doing nothing is for me a positive attribute: it's not nothing doing, it's doing nothing. i share indeg's happiness that your political career has suffered an early demise. 02.20 The second G3 night in Sao Paulo: strong sets from both Steve & Joe. In Joe's set, Mr. Drummer hit a swinging, driving, bouncing pocket & Joe was with him. Perhaps sleeping in the same hotel for two concurrent nights is a contributory factor.
