Bredonborough.
Blueness!
Morning reading in the Study Library I…

… and shortly leaving for London.
18.14 Minxie Mansions.
A somber, reflective drive here, and grieving. Arriving to joy…
… the Minx to welcome me from the balcony!
A call to Polly Legg to check details for Michael’s seeing-off celebration.
Then time to impersonate a suit…
Wouldn’t you trust this man? He’s honest, God-fearing, and you know that not onely because he tells you so, but because he wears a suit. However, look closer & you’ll see the jacket is of leather. This is not a man to be trusted, after all. A grey pinstripe is the suit we associate with probity & sound business practices.
Into the taxi…
… and to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden…
… to celebrate the Independence of the Estonian Republic….
… which sang its way to freedom… The sound of freedom The singing revolution
A large-scale millage of dignatories were welcomed at the top of the steps by the Ambassador to the UK, Ms. Aino Lepik von Wiren, and the Military Attache, Lt. Col. Vahur Valjamae. We were honoured to be invited. Citizens of the mature & post-mature democracies take their elementary freedoms for granted. Not so if your occupying army left twenty years ago. This is a day to celebrate, for Estonia & her friends.
Then a walk over the Millenium Bridge to the Southbank I…

Tubing to Turnham Green & a gentle promenading, including the acquisition of bookrests to support the reading of heavy tomes.
Returning to gentle before leaving for a select private hotel to meet several of the Minx’s player friends. This requires a change of shirt and tie…
Distrust this man. Although many posters to ET & the DGM Guestbook need no direction in this respect.
23.56 A wonderful evening in especial company. Discretion is the rule when socializing with the well-known and/or socially prominent. So, many remarkable tales will not be recounted here.
