16.02 World HQ. A cold, sunny day in Bredonborough. Continuing to re-organise space & order those parts of my environment where I am able to proceed. The builders working upstairs have not been in for two days – they were sent the wrong fitting - which means that I won't be able to get into the space for two days after my intended return to the higher floor. So, I continue here in the kitchen: surrounded by scanner, printer, hi-speed access & an old Sony ghetto blaster, pre-CD era but with auxiliary input. How I long for auxiliary inputs on modern blasters! Listening this morning: Mozart's string duos & trios. Listening this afternoon: G4 Soundscapes at Jones' Beach on June 20th. 1997.
