This chaise longue was in use at the Willow Café.

What’s the Willow Café anyway & why should a chaise longue from any café be of interest to Fripp? He’ s got too much time on his hands & should get back out on the road! an attention-attracted DGM visitor might find themselves thinking.

The Willow Café was a feature of Bredonborough life for over 20 years, run by two Sisters, finally closing its doors to those in search of tasty cakes & a hot drink in the early 1970s. It then became a private residence for a gentleman who moved into elderly-persons’ accommodation in the mid-1990s, a younger couple taking up residence until 2001; and then we moved in during November.
Our home was a café & sold tasty cakes! This is soooo appropriate. Sadly, the chaise now needs a level of care that is beyond me. Mr. Cheese hopes that the person taking a number of other reclamation items might also take this.
