18.14 Very hot in Nashville today and a storm alert is out. A small pencil flurry this morning & gently coming up to speed on the repertoire. I gave myself permission for a bibliophiliacal tumescense, returning to meet John Sinks who is in to tech for the Nashville shows. Listening this afternoon: Mieczyslaw Vainberg's String Quartet No. 7. Listening yesterday morning: a gift from Germany - Quatuor Mosaiques playing Haydn quartets with an exquisite, sweet tone. Yesterday evening: editing and compiling aphorisms, Guitar Craft course diaries and the early months of this Diary.
