10.17 Mount Juliet. Another grey day. Rising at 05.45 my morning has already been busy. Wondering: the extent to which, for those on the Guitar Craft course in Los Molinos, the term structural engineer has been recognized as a metaphor for one engaged in the process of constructing an interior architecture. 11.23 E-nonsense. Adrian is next door in StudioBelew attempting to remember material that we have spent years working on together. I am myself attempting to do the same, with less success. 14.44 Ken & John are busying, getting equipment ready to move out to the rehearsal studio. John has been helping me to get a small external 120GB hard-drive hooked & vibrated to the G4, now that my smaller 20GB back-up unit has been lost by United. As I type, a 13.5GB music library is moving onto the Glyph Demon Beast Of Monster Memory & Terror. The plan is to have a large music library on a small external drive. 15.55 Learning curves underway, looking over the shoulders of John & now Ken. I am ether-netted up and vibrant with a back-up of the main files underway. 17.42 Fingers are snapping like whipcords, at least, to a greater extent than yesterday. One day I might get there, knowing as these snapping fingers hit the keys that this day will never arrive.
