20.44 Bredonborough. A straightforward check-in but with an excess baggage charge, a result of the new regulations, of 60 euros. A farewell coffee with Hernan. During the flight, a Grandmother in the window-seat talked non-stop to her daughter for 2 on-board hours. She also carried a bottle of water, although no liquids were allowed. A middle-aged man brought on his wheelie, although the maximum carry-on size for the single allowed-item was computer-case. What? No problem at Heathrow with our baggage-arrival. But many, many bags were set out & waiting all around the claim area of Terminal Two. The Terminal itself was almost empty. Driving home from London, a powerful & unusual black cloud was hovering between Warwick & Evesham. 21.32 An e-flurry has revealed that a project will not be as I had wished it to be.
