Minx Mansions, Chiswick.

Grey. Greyness! Coldness!

Along the High Road…

… to breakfast with the Weekend FT I…

… followed by bibliophiliacal stirrings in the adjacent premises.

A gentle walk back and a call to Polly Legg.

14.46    Cars gassed, or petrolised in Anglicised equivalent, for a speedy departure this evening.

Now e-flurrying.

16.10 Off to Ealing Studios at 16.30 to cheer loudly for the Minx & The Eighties Supergroup.

23.46    Bredonborough.

Leaving MinxWorld & into the on-time car, Ealing Studios & the Green Room provided for family & friends. Entering the studio c. 18.05. I was put on a bar stool in the Friends & Supporters section adjacent to the stage. Requests for no photos & no celling were ignored widescale.

A very good warm-up comic, going live at 18.40. Six dance acts, The Eighties Supergroup on last.

A very funny cod bio of the group’s formation I…

Adrian Edmonson’s Dying Swan & The Eighties Supergroup won!

The popular vote went to Adrian Edmonson’s stunning Dying Swan, with a cameo appearance from Rik Mayall (who, pretending to hit Ade with a large saucepan, actually connected on the first swipe). The judges had to select between two other acts & went for The Supergroup on the final judge’s nail-biting vote: 2 to 1. So T & the Team will be returning to dance next Saturday.

In our family, Toyah is very good at holding the front. Her husband is very good at holding the back I…

… and in this case wearing a badge with Toyah’s Husband on it.

Leaving Ealing to Minx Towers & back to Bredonborough, arriving 23.20.

WillyFred is very willing to be adored, so now to gentling at the end of a hard week for T, but also exciting & fulfilling, with a good cause well supported.
