20.54 DGM HQ. Yes! It's the Late Shift. David & Robert are through-listening to The 21st. Century Guide to KC Volume II: CD 4 Live 1994-2003. Vrooom Vrooom is now driving relentlessly forwards. Yow! A morning dealing with arising stuff & then a wonderful afternoon having tea with John Wetton at his home in Bournemouth. I took the cakes, many & gooey (and was a hero of cake consumption), John provided the very large lattes. John played me his duet with Annie Haslam, from the new JW/GD album, which is exceptional. John's voice is as good as I remember, and perhaps better. I left feeling that my life had been improved. 21.11 It's the Late Shift! One Time from the very first public performance of the Double Trio at the Prix d'Ami in Buenos Aires on September 29th. 1994. This is perhaps the finest recorded version of the song I have heard. 21.55 Several treats. Now Sustaynz from ProjeKct Two refreshingly live in Northampton. RF to David: I've no idea which is Trey & which is me. David: Then there's no hope for the rest of us. 22.21 Our overall running time is 81'30 so we have some trimming to do. 23.02 David has gone home. The floor beckons but my desk is on the way.
