Mr. Stormy was in support mode to Road Dog Wilkins & the players.
The performance, to c. 80 invited guests for the unveiling, felt rather a chamber recital. Luminaries in the audience included Dr. Margus Laidre (and here) Colin & Helen David of English Eccentrics, & Nick Park, Oscar winner & Wallace & Gromit creator.
PJ Crook introduced T&F who played for c. 50 minutes followed by thanks, then the audience moved to an unveiling of the commissioned piece for Gloucester College – Glocerama. Toyah’s introduction was superb. The whole evening felt one of a piece to me.
Afterwards, Dr. Margus commented that he loved the second T&F improv; the Minx the last 2 pieces. Personally, a fabbo & most enjoyable evening supporting the arts, pals & good causes. Pretty much life as it might be, then.
