Chateau Minx, Menton, Cote D’Azur, France.
A gale of fury in the night. The Minx woke me at 01.30 to watch alarming lighting-eruptions along the coast into Italy, with very strong gusts. People were getting off the beach - in a hurry. Minxie was concerned, and stayed up until five, keeping an eye on things.

There has been a music festival in town today, although we have not heard nor seen much evidence of it; apart from an electric band a little way along the beach to the Petit Port.
