Bredonborough.
Organising post-painter World HQ.
Across the Market Square to
consult the chiropodist on the possibilities of corn removal.

He was busy, so I returned an hour
later, at 11.30.
Are you Tina Willcox’s husband? His earlier clients had given him his information. Our
chiropodist doubles as a photographer, and was recently engaged to photograph
the wife of a famous tv actor, star of a popular detective series, with her
dog. Now, the chiro/photog suggests, he is both photographer and chiropodist to the stars (or, more
accurately, to spouses of the stars).
Yippee! In today’s post…
… the recent publication by Dr.
Margus Laidre, historian of Estonia. Much excitement, even though most of the
book is inaccessible to me (the Estonian
language is a member of the Finno-Ugric branch of the Uralic language family
EB 2008) prior to an English translation, which I hope will be forthcoming. The
history of Estonia is the history of invasion & occupation; the cover
indicates this has involved besieging & bombardment.
Post-lunch packing, e-frenzying,
desk tidying & to practising.
A beautiful English Summer day I…

II…
Not many tasty pears this year…
… which erupt bi-annually.
Tea & reading at the back
door...
20.34 Bag at the front door for Kevin-call at 09.30.
A most enjoyable early supper,
walk around the town & Abbey Park, and idea-discussion by the back door
with the Minx. To gentle.
