Fun things continue to swoop into my inbox in response to the request for quotable quotes :

From Brian the one and only Eno :"I would like to put on public record right now, once and for all: I AM NOT ’THE VICAR’. I would be grateful if these misleading and embarrassing rumours ceased henceforth and I have instructed my solicitors, Bludgeon, Cape and Drum, to proceed energetically with proceedings against any party or periodical that forthwith repeats the aforesaid calumny.  May God Bless You All."

Which is pretty clear unless you want to mess with Messrs Bludgeon, Cape and Drum.

Or from Bill Bruford (no doubt in response to the drummer jokes, or possibly the lack of drums on Songbook No 1) :"All we are saying is Give Drums a Chance".

In fact, the quotable quotes also contain the pithy comment from Ringo Starr

"I’m not on it, Am I?"

Which must be my cue for another drummer joke :
