I have been avoiding my diary. I stand before you as a small boy who has failed to complete his homework.

Progress on new compositions: Zero.
Excuses : Many
Validity of Excuses : Zero.

One large pointed stick duly placed at the point of maximum discomfort. Will try harder.

And so to other matters, such as the joys and complexities of publishing a book, and entering into discussions with large TV companies, perhaps.
Karen Aires, who grows taller and thinner by the day, has yet to rip up Punk’s draft version and put it through the recycling machine. Her agent, Eric, may prove more discerning. We shall see.
Over the last few days, I have followed a series of emails, in which the world grows more surreal by the minute. Should I be disturbed that Donnie Greenhair, the barber of Seattle, has taken it upon himself to contact presidents of TV corporations and recommend my project to them? Perhaps I should find it even more disturbing that they are taking him seriously.

Don is nothing if not enthusiastic. I received the following email this morning:

Hi Gentlemen,
Analogy of the meeting. As Punk might put it "I got to second base, great titties and some tongue".
We have our production partner in RK, period. He will take any meeting we need to raise money, which will be few. All I ask at this moment is that Punk continues to write, write, write..

Thank You very much for taking the time to read. I had breakfast yesterday with Robert K, please see bio. He has agreed to produce The Vicar. We have met or talked to every important production group in the last three months. We knew the only person that could do this right was RK and his team. That is becoming the karma of The Vicar project. Being handed directly to you via Karen is example enough. You and I may want to discus the bundle as a whole with TW/AOL. This was suggested to me by Neil Braun ex. pres of NBC tV. This is a "convergence" deal on all levels, as is expressed on the first page of the bible. This project is publishing.,streaming, sound track,, film, serial, a 20 million+ package. I will secure all rights while in London on this next trip. Bottom Line is whether you really dig the project. Let’s blow some smoke together.
