Notes
This track was one of Stormy's Monday selections. It is currently unavailable, but will be part of his next bumper collection. His fourth year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, torch in hand, fedora upon his head is now available for download.
One of several try-outs for Heartbeat, this one features Fripp on the Roland organ. If you squint your eyes shut a bit, it's just possible to imagine what Heartbeat might have sounded like had the League of Gentlemen had a crack at it.

Sort of there..., Thu., Apr 19, 2012

To respond to SSImuse, actually, if my research is correct (or if Robert wishes to corroborate me), that Roland organ, the VK-1, was intended to be a Hammond simulation, but without key-click, a second keyboard, or rotary speaker simulation. A DI’ed Hammond organ would do just the same thing. That being said, what would’ve been really cool would be a GR-300 pad—filtered synth sound; slow, liquid, yet non-metallic flanging, and some long, yet not too loud reverb. That would be cool. I could see that playing against the more rhythmic components of the song.
