Notes
This track was one of Stormy's Monday selections. It is currently unavailable, but will be part of his next bumper collection. His second year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, torch in hand, fedora upon his head is already available for download.

Though it might be hard to imagine Robert Fripp doing this kind of event nowadays, back in 1981 part of the guitarist’s job description included talking to record company sales teams. Here’s Robert addressing the good folks at Warner Brothers, providing a little spice for their sales pitches by recounting the circumstances of Adrian’s audio vérité contribution to Thela Hun Ginjeet

I just love these behind the scenes kinds of things that you would never be aware of in 1981 or whenever. Thank you for going through the trouble to post it.
I bet with record companies today, an artist doesn’t do or bother with this kind of thing, Judgement has probably been passed before the artist shows up -- if you even get a chance to explain your "vision" :) to them. Sounded like the Discipline concept was lost on them, which is understandable.

I wonder if Sun Ra ever went into Delmark or Impulse and explained his ideas to them. :) "I...am..the alter destiny...the presence of the living myth.....". :)
Response:
"I don’t hear a hit on the record."

hahahahahahahahahahaha
