Notes
As documented on Robert’s diary of October 10th, this one is fresh from the vaults. “I think just the fact that this interview is being conducted after the show in Hull, and you can hear the gear being broken down in the background, makes it interesting” said a breathless Mr. Stormy,“that and the fact that John is so willing to chat.”

Indeed there should be an award given to John Wetton for reporting from the frontline whilst under fire from extraneous noise.

Though the sound quality may not be that great it provides us with a fascinating glimpse into KC at the time. John talks about the new lyricist working with the group, the different musical influences upon the band and tantalisingly, the notion that members of Crimson originally considered working outside of a group context on different projects.

Sadly, posterity sadly does not give us the names of the two Japanese fans who gamely keep John engaged in conversation.
