Notes
This track is now available for download as part of a bumper collection of Mr Stormy's Monday Selections Volume Three - Yes, his third year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, torch in hand, fedora upon his head.
Recorded immediately prior to Travis & Fripp’s first world tour of Dorset, we hear the team in reflective mode. Although not quite in the zone, these call and response exchanges show two musicians working on ideas and moods and making sure all the buttons on the rig did what they were supposed to do. Not all of the sounds at the disposal of their fingertips and toes would make it to the live stage but tasty bass licks aside,T&F unleash a roar of fuzzed-out lead lines and squalling sax that’ll put hairs on your chest!
