“It’s a ballad thing and requires sensitivity” says Robert to his chums, Sara, Barry and Johnny. What follows is a first-time run through of what would eventually become Matte Kudasai, heard here gingerly making its way out into the world. With elements of the equally sensitive, North Star, from Exposure being discernible, these renditions may border on being rough and ready but of course are not without considerable charm.
